DVAS is a state-of-the-art integrated system that provides simultaneous multi-channels fully automatic audio announcement combining the latest audio technology with Digital Signal Processing supporting WAV and MPEG (including MP3) formats.

 

   

DVAS supports multiple language announcement including English, Chinese, Japanese and Thai. The tone used is soothing, and the pronunciation is clear and accurate. Thus providing audible information to passengers, general public, tenants, operations staff and management in a timely & unambiguous manner.

Automatic announcement is achieved through the following triggers:

  • Schedule time

  • Events (e.g: departed)

Messages from broadcasting are formed by concatenating prerecorded fixed and variable phrase. A Text to Speech synthesizer can also be provided.

 

   
  • Airports:

To make announcement on flight information, emergency messages, standard airport fixed messages, temporary and ad-hoc messages, etc.

 

  • Seaports:

To make announcement on shipping information, emergency messages, standard seaport fixed messages, temporary and ad-hoc messages, etc.

 

  • Bus stations:

To make announcement on bus schedule information, emergency messages, standard fixed messages and ad-hoc messages, etc.

 

  • Buildings/exhibitions halls:

To make announcement on closing and opening time, emergency messages, exhibition information, building facilities, advertisement, etc.

   
   

DVAS runs on any Pentium II/III Intel PC with a minimum 256MB of memory and 10GB hard disks.

An optional multi-channel audio card is available for up to 8 channels of simultaneous mono audio channels. The software runs on Windows NT/2000/XP.

   

 

 

 

The Windows based GUI provides the point and click environment, with comprehensive on-line help always available.

User are presented with all the necessary information on the screen, thus minimizing mistakes.
